Mardi Himal Trek - The Hidden Gem of Annapurna
Situated just east of the world-renowned Annapurna Base Camp trail, the Mardi Himal Trek remains one of Nepal’s best-kept secrets. Few trekkers venture to the Mardi Himal Base Camp, dramatically nestled beneath the towering peaks of Mardi Himal and the iconic Machapuchhre (Fishtail).
The journey follows narrow, winding paths through enchanting rhododendron forests, where every turn reveals a new perspective of the mountains. Emerging from the forest at around 3,300 meters, the scenery shifts dramatically into a rugged alpine landscape with awe-inspiring views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchhre, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.
From High Camp (3,580 m), it takes about 3–4 hours to reach Mardi Himal Base Camp, where trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking close-up panoramas of the entire Annapurna Range — an unforgettable Himalayan experience.
